Pontelagoscuro
Urban plan for the district of Pontelagoscuro in Ferrara. A part of town north of the historical center, neglected, over-industrialized, separated into two parts by a highway running through the middle. A lot of problems to solve and an even greater amount of opportunities to make this a better, liveable space.
Me and my classmates focused on creating a green corridor, uniting the two parts of the city by moving the highway and reusing existing buildings for new purposes instead of creating new ones.
